Space Shuttle Stories

I am a space geek. From the lunar landings, Star Trek/Wars, to news covering the shuttle tragedies. I did a book years ago with an astronaut (Jay Apt) for Nat Geo when I was on staff, called “Orbit” which netted the best compensation ever: VIP seats at a shuttle launch! THAT was thrilling. But I digress. When Smithsonian called with this, I jumped on it. This is every single mission, with images pulled from NASA’s archive. While, for my taste, a few too many images of routine tasks (which don’t lend themselves to very interesting visuals), there were enough wow moments to keep up the pace for such a structured presentation. It was fun.
