Ghosts of Segregation

“Ghosts” is a catalog of the work by photographer (and dear friend) Rich Frishman, documenting locations around the US where some form of racial injustice occurred. Begun years before the BLM movement, it now takes on a new level of relevance in today’s super-charged times. It’s political aptness aside, what I love about Rich’s work is how it has evolved from more whimsical images of Americana (done in a much looser mosaic form) to the seamless presentation he now employs. This project is only at midway and, no doubt, will hit even greater visual strides as it continues.
